At Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd., he was involved in launching the perovskite solar cell business,
covering everything from basic research to mass-production development. He then transferred to the
corporate planning division, conducting technology scouting of universities and startups, primarily
overseas.
His experience spans a wide range of fields, including biomaterials, synthetic organic
chemistry, polymerization, fine-particle dispersion, electrochemistry, semiconductor optics, coating
and film formation, and vacuum processes.
In the strategy practice at Accenture, he gained broad experience from strategy through IT — including new business development, international expansion, operational efficiency, organizational restructuring, and large-scale system implementation — mainly in the chemicals, manufacturing, and telecommunications industries. In graduate school, he engaged in the research and development of transparent flexible metal-oxide electrodes fabricated using microfabrication (MEMS) technology employed in semiconductor manufacturing, and of devices for extending the operating life of organic semiconductors.
